🎃 Hairy Scary: Trivia Night for a Cause
Help families rewrite their stories—one spooky question at a time. Every ticket, costume, and cocktail supports emergency shelter, meals, and hope for St. Louis families experiencing homelessness.
🍸 Open bar. Big prizes. Bigger impact.
Important Notice
Moolah Shrine Center has updated its policy regarding outside alcohol due to insurance restrictions. Please note: Outside alcohol is not permitted. However, we have you covered! This year's event will feature an open bar with wine, beer, and your favorite spirits. Alcohol mixers like Red Bull are allowed, and you can still bring your own food. If you have any questions, please contact Xander at xander@loavesanfishes-stl.org.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Because We All Deserve A Home
Every day, Loaves and Fishes for St. Louis opens the door to hope for families in crisis. Last year alone, we offered emergency shelter to over 350 families, with 60% of those clients being children and provided nearly 600,000 meals through our food pantry—87% of which served senior citizens.
We believe a miracle can start with just one call or one open door. Your support means meals, shelter, and new beginnings for those who need it most.
Emergency Shelter for Families
A Safe Place to Start Again.
We provide emergency housing for families with children facing homelessness in St. Louis. Families receive a private room, daily meals, and one-on-one case management to support long-term stability.
Food Pantry
Weekly Support for Neighbors in Need.
Our on-site food pantry operates five days a week, serving more than 11,800 people annually. Last year we provided almost 600,000 meals—including fresh produce, meats, dairy, and baby essentials.
Community Outreach
Meeting People Where They Are
Through crisis intervention and resource referral, our organization works to assist unsheltered individuals by providing essential items and support. These efforts help bridge the gap between living on the streets and achieving stability, offering a pathway to improved well-being and safe housing.
Prevention Services
Preventing Homelessness Before It Starts.
Through rental assistance, case management, and landlord advocacy, we help families stay housed and avoid the trauma of eviction.
Volunteer & Event Opportunities
Be Part of the Solution
From our themed fundraisers, such as Hairy Scary Trivia Night, to seasonal events like our Back to School Drive, there are many ways to contribute. Volunteering or attending events directly supports families in crisis.
