LOAVES AND FISHES FOR ST. LOUIS
2025 ELECTED BOARD OF DIRECTORS
-
President – Janice Muschany
With over 32 years of experience in the public safety sector, I actively contribute to the mission of Loaves and Fishes through our fire district's community outreach initiatives and by educating individuals who utilize its services. Additionally, I focus on raising awareness among first responders regarding the resources and support available through Loaves and Fishes. My involvement on the board stems from my belief in the organization's dual role: not only does it provide essential services, but it also equips clients with the skills and resources necessary for long-term self-sufficiency and success in their lives beyond those services.

Vice President - George Sloan
In 2024, I became involved with Loaves & Fishes for St. Louis, drawn by its strategic objective to address hunger and homelessness within our community. Leveraging my entrepreneurial background, I have employed targeted business methodologies to engage individuals who traditionally may not participate in philanthropic activities. This includes optimizing donation coordination processes and designing structured volunteer programs to enhance accessibility and engagement in charitable work. My efforts are focused on creating synergies between local resources and the populations they serve, ultimately fostering a more interconnected and compassionate community through strategic resource allocation and volunteer mobilization.
-
Recording Secretary - Destiny Durbin
With 14 years of experience in the beverage industry, I have honed my skills in various aspects of production, marketing, and product development. I am also a dedicated mother to my 4-year-old son, Beckett, and I am happily married to my husband, Drew. Originally from Southwest Missouri, I have lived in St. Louis for the past 15 years, contributing to my professional growth and personal life in this vibrant community.
